World of the Overtons

Experience what life was like at Travellers Rest during the early 1800s! Visit the Overton’s home, play with old-fashioned toys & games, visit the one-room schoolhouse, and get crafty making 19th century toys.

Attendees will be divided into groups to go through all the stations of the program. The program will take between 2 & 2 ½ hours in length. Guests are invited to bring a lunch to enjoy on the grounds following the program.

Date: Friday, March 24, 2023

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $8 per person. A ticket is required for all children and adults attending, and there will be a small Eventbrite processing fee added to the total.

Children 4 & Under – Free

Recommended for Students in Grades – K - 4th

If younger children would like to participate in the craft, parents can purchase a $2 activity fee for children 4 & under.
