Juneteenth Landscape of Enslavement to Freedom

Please join us at Travellers Rest fora special guided tour. The Landscape of Enslavement to Freedom tour focuses onthe lives of those who were enslaved at Travellers Rest and those who lived andworked here post-emancipation. Led by Interpreters at Travellers Rest, this onehour tour will discuss information about both enslaved and emancipatedindividuals that lived and worked at Travellers Rest during the 19th century.

The Landscape of Enslavement toFreedom Tours will take place on Thursday June 19, 2025 at two times, at 11:00a.m. and 2:00 p.m.. Tours will be able to be purchased in advance, as well asday of, so once you have purchased a ticket, plan to arrive 15 minutes beforeyour chosen tour time to check in.
